Dr. Matt Kifer

Professional Journey

  • Matt graduated with honors with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University out of Denver, Colorado in 2017.

  • Prior to physical therapy school, he attended the University of Wyoming on a full-ride academic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion.

  • Matt opened Elevate208 in 2023 after practicing for seven years in orthopedic physical therapy clinics—three years in Kootenai County preceded by four years in Spokane.

  • In 2024, Matt was a winner of the Kootenai County Top 30 Under 40 Award.

Personal Journey

  • Matt had the opportunity to grow up in both Montana and Wyoming. His work background includes landscaping, farming, and even bird farming.

  • He discovered Kootenai County in 2017 after completing physical therapy school and met his wife, Madison, at Heart of the City Church in CDA.

  • Madison is a former first grade teacher who now stays home to care for their children.

  • Matt and Madison have two children and look forward to growing their family in the years to come.

  • Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, and friends. He is an outdoorsman who loves activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, and snowboarding.

  • Matt and his wife are also involved in their local church and dedicated to serving Kootenai County. 

  • Matt is a God-fearing, Bible-believing conservative who loves this country and the great state of Idaho because of the blessings and freedoms afforded to us.

Professional Journey

  • Christian graduated with honors with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor, University out of Waco, Texas in 2021.

  • His undergraduate education took place at Olympic College in Western Washington where he played baseball. He then finished his degree at University of Idaho (Go Vandals!)

  • Christian worked and served as a youth pastor for his local church in Bremerton, Washington prior to his physical therapy schooling.

  • For the past 3 years, he worked as a physical therapist in Silverdale, Washington where he specialized in Orthopedics, Industrial Rehabilitation and Post-Operative Rehabilitation.

Personal Journey

  • Christian grew up in Coeur d’ Alene and is a Lake City High alumni.

  • He moved to Bremerton, Washington to play college baseball after high school where he met his wife, Marina.

  • He and his wife recently moved back to Coeur d’ Alene and are excited to get plugged back into the community.

  • Marina was a 2nd grade teacher for the last 4 years in Washington and is currently tutoring remotely.

  • Outside of work, Christian enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, and faithfully serving the Lord. In his free time, he loves golfing, camping, hunting, and a good board game.

Professional Journey

  • Mitch earned his DPT and BS in Kinesiology — both from California State University, Northridge — graduating summa cum laude with his undergraduate degree.

  • He then went on to specialize in orthopedic physical therapy at Sports Fit PT in Santa Monica, CA, treating a wide range of diagnoses across all ages.

  • Before he began his career as a Physical Therapist, he spent his early 20's in worship music ministry and as a singer-songwriter — a background that shaped his people-first approach to care.

Personal Journey

  • Mitch was born and raised in the Columbia River Gorge where he grew up skiing Mt. Hood and exploring the region.

  • He married his wife, Lauren, while living in northern California and together they spent a decade in Los Angeles before relocating to Coeur d'Alene to be close to family.

  • He is a proud dad to his daughter, Sydney, with a second child on the way.

  • Outside of the clinic he enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, water sports, basketball (go Blazers!), and living room guitar sessions for Sydney.

Brianna Iversen

Office Manager

Professional Journey

  • Brianna has worked in the physical therapy field for the last 6 years running two other offices in Kootenai County as the Office Manager and AR/Billing Specialist. 

  • She previously worked as a Development Assistant and Peer-to Peer Crisis Support for a non-profit supporting special needs individual and their families in 5 counties in Northern California. 

  • Brianna has also volunteered countless hours working with physically and mentally handicapped children and adults at a NAHRA accredited hippotherapy facility, specializing in physical and occupational therapy through the riding, handling and caring of horses. 

Personal Journey

  • Brianna grew up in Southern California, where she played competitive volleyball throughout high school, club, and college.

  • She studied Law & Government and Criminal Justice and is currently returning to school to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology and trauma counseling.

  • Brianna met her husband, Blake, after moving to Northern California. They have been together for 15 years and have two children. Blake is the Lead Service Technician at Quality Stoves & Spas.

  • Eight years ago, Brianna and her family relocated to Coeur d’Alene after visiting family and deciding they wanted to raise their children in a God‑fearing community that shared their values and morals.

  • Outside of work, Brianna enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active in her church, and serving wherever the Lord calls her. In her free time, she loves cooking, singing, reading, hunting, and fishing.
